My Lake Day at MCC
Some days legit feel scripted by the universe and yesterday was one of them.
That morning, while casually chatting with a classmate, I said: I’ve never been to the lake…”Manifestation? Maybe. Because by afternoon, Rufus Sir pulled the ultimate plot twist:
“Lake trip today. But rules first , no talking. From class till the lake, just silence. Observe everything.”
And boom. Adventure mode: ON.
At first, it felt weird. Walking with your whole gang but not even whispering? Suspiciously hard. 😅 But then, silence started to vibe. Every little sound, every detail stood out like nature had turned the volume up just for us.
Birds chirping like a live soundtrack.
Butterflies fluttering around like they owned the runway.
Pebbles crunching underfoot with that lowkey ASMR vibe.
And my fave discovery , the tiniest flowers tucked away at the edge of the path, almost invisible but still blooming with their own quiet confidence.
For me, the sunlight stole the show.
In shady patches, it felt unsettling anxious, almost lost, like walking in doubt. But when sunlight suddenly slipped through the trees and kissed my cheek, it was everything. A soft reminder from nature itself: “You’re on the right path, just keep walking.”
Total Frost “The Road Not Taken” energy that moment where you stand between silence, uncertainty, and light, realizing life is basically a silent walk with hidden guides.
And then finally the lake.
Refreshing. Calming. Almost cinematic. Birds skimming the water, fishes glimmering like silver sparks, ripples catching the light like shattered glass. Even puddles looked poetic when Sir spoke about them.
What started as a random morning thought turned into a core memory.
A day of silence that actually spoke louder than words.
