Mental Fog

You ever just sit there, staring at a screen, a book, or a wall, and realize… nothing is happening? No thoughts, no ideas, just an empty void where your brain used to be? Yeah, me too.

It’s like your mind suddenly decides to take a vacation without informing you. You try to focus, but all you can do is blink at the task in front of you, hoping some divine intervention will kickstart the neurons. Spoiler: it doesn’t.

Maybe it's burnout. Maybe it's too much scrolling. Maybe it’s just one of those days when the brain clocks out, leaving you on your own to deal with life.

You drink water. You take a walk. You even try that dramatic ‘splash water on your face and look in the mirror’ scene from movies. Still, nothing. The brain refuses to brain.

And then, at the most inconvenient time like when you’re trying to sleep it suddenly decides to return, bombarding you with overanalyzed conversations, deep philosophical questions, and a random embarrassing memory from ten years ago.

Moral of the story? The brain has its own schedule. And unfortunately, we’re just along for the ride.
