Graduation Chronicles 🎓
This morning, the alarm rang, but my bed seemed to hold me captive. Then it hit me today’s convocation! With a rush of adrenaline, I jumped out, showered, and got ready to assemble by 8:30. For one last time, I got to live my day-scholar routine, and did it hit me in the feels!
As a current hosteller, those day-scholar days feel like a lifetime ago. I miss the home-cooked food, the college bus rides, and those cozy lunches at home post-classes. Back then, it was all about switching on the TV, digging into luscious meals, and yeah... being a bit on the chubby side (no regrets though).
The moment I stepped onto the campus, a wave of memories washed over me. Those towering buildings, familiar corners, and faces it was like rewinding to a golden era. And then, I spotted my friends. OMG, seeing them after ages was nothing short of magical. Nostalgia had me in a tight grip today, and I wasn’t complaining.
After a quick refreshment break, I grabbed my robe, and then came the moment. For the first time since forever, we all assembled as a class. The vibes were unreal! I spoke with almost everyone, catching up, sharing laughs, and reliving memories.
And then, the grand moment arrived receiving my degree. Walking up to that stage felt surreal. My parents’ proud faces lit up the moment, and not gonna lie, my eyes welled up. After the ceremony, we had lunch on campus, and I couldn’t help but wonder when will I ever get another chance to revisit my UG days?
But hey, life moves on, doesn’t it? One thing’s for sure, being a part of MCC has been a blessing beyond words. Amazing professors, sweet friends, unforgettable memories it’s the stuff that dreams are made of.
Today wasn’t just a graduation; it was a full-blown nostalgia fest, and I’m taking every bit of it with me into the next chapter.
Here’s to the past that shaped us and the future that awaits!
