Why Wait? AI Says Nah!

Why Is Patience Extinct? Blame It on AI!

There was a time when waiting was normal waiting for a letter, waiting for a dial-up connection, waiting for water to boil. Now? We want everything now. Zero buffer, zero delays. If something takes more than a few seconds, frustration kicks in. And guess what? AI is the biggest culprit.

AI: The Speed Demon We Created

AI was meant to make life easier, but it ended up making us impatient. It reads our minds (or at least our search history), predicts our needs, and gives us answers before we even finish typing. No wonder we can’t tolerate slow replies, buffering videos, or even a three-second ad before a YouTube clip.

Remember when we used to flip through books to find answers? Now, AI-powered search engines serve information in a blink. When was the last time you actually waited for something without checking your phone? That’s right patience is out of style.

Instant Gratification = No Room for Patience

Want food? Instant delivery.

Need entertainment? Infinite scrolling.

Craving validation? One post, instant likes.

We are spoiled by AI-driven convenience. It’s all about right here, right now. If an app lags for even two seconds, we uninstall it. If a friend takes longer to reply, we assume they’re ignoring us. AI has trained us to expect everything at lightning speed, leaving patience to rot in a forgotten corner of our minds.

The Trend That’s Losing Its Edge

Ironically, AI itself is losing its coolness. It’s no longer a futuristic fantasy it’s everywhere. We don’t get excited about AI like we used to. Why? Because we got used to it. The same way patience became extinct, AI is becoming just another background noise in our lives.

So, what now? Maybe it’s time to rewire ourselves. Slow down. Breathe. Read a book without Googling the summary. Wait for a reply without overthinking. Let things take time. Because patience might be old-school, but some trends are worth bringing back.

What do you think? Is AI making us impatient, or are we just losing our chill? Drop your thoughts (but don’t expect an instant reply)!
