Letters beyond Screens

Birthdays deserve a sprinkle of magic, right? For my Mumbai friend, I ditched the usual texts and what's app status. Instead, I penned down vibes, sealed them in an envelope, and hit the post office. Call it retro or romantic, but sending that letter felt like sending a piece of me through the universe. Old-school vibes, modern feels let’s call it vintage cool. 

Poem

Walked to the post office, vibes were tight,  

Carrying words wrapped in birthday light.  

No emojis, no flashy screen,  

Just paper, ink, and love unseen.  

Queue was chill, clerk gave a nod,  

Stamped it like it’s a love postcard.  

Address to Mumbai, sealed with flair,  

My heart’s express, handled with care.  

As the slot clicked, my heart did too,  

A journey begun, feelings flew.  

For her big day, this old-school feat,  

A letter’s charm pure, unique treat.  

Here’s to a vibe she’ll never forget,  

A timeless gift, no regrets.  

Happy birthday, my Mumbai queen,  

A letter’s glow in a world of screens.
