A Sweet Escape


Oh, the magic in a chocolate bar,  

A little joy that’s never far,  

Wrapped in sweetness, smooth and true,  

A moment’s bliss, just for you.


Dark or milk, or filled with cream,  

Each bite’s a savory dream,  

It melts away the day’s rough edge,  

With every bite, a whispered pledge.


Caramel swirls and hazelnut crunch,  

Perfect partners with every lunch,  

Or stolen late when stars are high,  

A secret treat beneath the sky.


In every square, a love untold,  

A comfort warm when days grow cold,  

A simple gift, yet so complete,  

Chocolates make life just a bit more sweet.
