Flames and Feels

Hey fam! Hope you all are vibing well. So, something pretty cool happened today, and I just had to share. It was Roofes Sir’s class this morning, and like clockwork, I was in a full-on race against time. You’d think living near the gate would give me a head start, but nah—the QSC building feels like it’s miles away when you’re on that chase for attendance. I’m sure my fellow MCCians can relate! It’s like we’re hiking through some enchanted forest every day—this place is massive, around 400 acres of pure nature. Honestly, walking through it feels like recharging my soul batteries. You’re greeted by deer, birds, and this crazy fresh air that just makes you feel wonderful. And the farm? I’ve heard it’s like stepping into a nature documentary. Haven’t explored it yet, but it’s on my to-do list for sure.

Now, about Roofes Sir’s class—he comes in, and then he hands out candles to everyone. At first, I’m like, "Okay, what’s the deal?" But then, boom—it all clicks. He lights three candles, and those flames jump from wick to wick until all of ours are burning bright. It was such a vibe! Sir went on to drop some knowledge bombs, talking about Independence Day and how one candle can light a thousand others without losing its glow. It was like he was saying,  even the smallest spark can ignite something bigger. He connected it all to sacrifice and hope honestly, I was feeling that energy.

Sadly, I wasn’t in the best shape—feeling kinda off the weather, so I couldn’t soak it completely. But still, the moment hit hard and left me with something special to remember. Big shoutout to Roofes Sir he’s like the sun that makes all of us grow, spreading light and inspiration in every direction. His words aren’t just lectures; they’re seeds of wisdom that take root and bloom in our minds.
