Scars
Hey everyone, it's your girl Safa here, ready to share something really close to my heart. 🌟 Today, I'm switching things up a bit. My amazing classmates encouraged me to share a poem I wrote during an activity where we had to dive deep into the struggles students face, the kind that can leave deep scars and become haunting memories.
This poem is my way of shining a light on those dark corners, expressing the raw emotions and silent battles many of us fight. I hope it resonates with you all and maybe even brings a little comfort. Here it is. Enjoy! đź’«
In the quiet of the classroom, minds should freely roam,
But confusion filled the air, no understanding, just a dome.
A student sought a friend, a whisper in the air,
The teacher's wrath exploded, a book flung in despair.
But what if patience guided, a different path we took?
What if wisdom whispered, "Let's not throw the book"?
If empathy were chosen, and kindness led the way,
The classroom's gentle heartbeat would transform the day.
A raised hand, a question, "Can you explain once more?"
A teacher's calm and gentle voice, knowledge to explore.
No fear of harsh reactions, no anger in reply,
Just a bridge of understanding, reaching to the sky.
Respect and patience blooming, in every heart and mind,
A place where every question finds answers, always kind.
No book upon the floorboards, but knowledge gently spread,
In classrooms filled with learning, where compassion's always fed.
Let's build a world of learning, with empathy as our guide,
Where every student's journey is embraced, not pushed aside.
For knowledge grows in kindness, and understanding's light,
A classroom filled with harmony, where everything feels right.
