Reuniting with Family

"No Time is Free Time, Every Time is Spare Time."

Hey everyone! I’m Safa, and today, I want to share how I spent my spare time during a recent visit to Trichy.

Staying in a hostel for the first time, away from family, has been one of my biggest challenges. And let's talk about hostel food – it just can't compare to the love-filled meals we get at home. You know what I mean, right?

So, after what felt like ages, I finally got to visit my parents. I started my journey on a rainy Friday evening, caught in heavy traffic. With all the trains booked, I had no choice but to take a bus. Despite the rain leaking through the window, I kept my spirits high, even managing to write a blog post en route.

When I finally reached Trichy, seeing my parents felt like a dream. Their happiness was contagious, and my first meal at home made me feel like my taste buds were alive again.

The next day, I spent at my grandmother’s house, indulging in a feast she lovingly prepared just for me. Her desserts were the highlight, each bite filled with nostalgia and warmth.

On Sunday, Mom cooked my favorite biryani. I caught up with neighbors, watched movies, laughed a lot, and enjoyed every moment. But saying goodbye was tough. The two days flew by, leaving me with mixed feelings.

Despite the challenges, this trip was a reminder of why I’m pushing through – to shape a better future for myself. It’s a journey of positive pain, and I’m ready to embrace it.
