Six Years of Blogging

Six Years of Blogging: From Chaos to Consistency

Whoa, six years of blogging? How did that even happen? I still remember being that awkward 11th grader, clueless about what to write but buzzing with excitement. Shoutout to my dad for casually dropping the idea of starting a blog because look at me now! Back then, I didn’t even know what “finding your voice” meant. My blog was all over the place, but honestly? That’s what made it fun.

In 11th grade, my posts were pure randomness PT gossip, endless BTS fangirling (because ARMY forever, duh), and those late-night overthinking sessions that felt so deep at the time. My blog was my vibe check. It didn’t matter if three people read it or thirty I was just having the time of my life writing whatever popped into my head.

Then came 12th grade, and my posts got a little...spicy. I started digging into controversial topics, and let me tell you, the drama was real. Every weekend, I’d drop posts that had people talking, questioning the “rules,” calling out the double standards, and basically saying what everyone else was too scared to. Some people loved it and hyped me up. Others? Not so much. But hey, controversy = engagement, right?

Fast forward to my UG days, and the blog evolved again. Between pulling all-nighters for exams and sneaking chai breaks with friends, I kept posting. It became a space to spill about college life the highs, the lows, and all the chaos in between. I’d write about everything:  random epiphanies, and those tiny wins that made the stress worth it. My blog was my therapy, my digital journal, and my connection to the world outside lecture halls.

And now? I’m a daily blogger, and honestly, I never saw this coming. Writing every single day felt impossible at first, but now it’s like second nature. It’s my favorite part of the day just me, my thoughts, and my little corner of the internet.

Big shoutout to Rufus Sir, though. He’s the real MVP who kept me motivated to write more and stay consistent. Without his push, I’m pretty sure I’d still be posting sporadically whenever the mood struck.

Looking back, it’s crazy how far I’ve come from random posts about my day to bold takes and now daily reflections. Blogging has been a rollercoaster, but it’s my rollercoaster, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If you’ve been sitting on the fence about starting something, here’s your sign: just start. Trust me, the ride is worth it.
